She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Thomas and Eloise Jones Thomas; her husband Rufus Goodman, Sr.; her son Randy Goodman; and her siblings, Laura Nixon, Josephine Edmond, Betty Williams Drummer, Emma Jean Weaver and George Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Jackson (Dan E.) of Statesboro, GA., Sherry Grant (Zacchaeus) of Statesboro, GA., Rufus Goodman, III (Vivian) of Statesboro, GA. and Ricky Goodman of Statesboro, GA.; her daughter-in-law Patricia Goodman of Portal, GA; her siblings, Clarence Williams of Statesboro, GA, Otis Williams (Vernita) of Metter, GA, Ronald Williams of Savannah, GA, Janice Williams Respres of Atlanta, GA, Helen Thomas, Willie Mae Thomas and Mattie Byrd (David); her siblings-in-law, William Goodman (Jessie) of Elmont, NY and Melissa Goodman Bennett (Russell) of Statesboro, GA; and her grandchildren, Antonio T. Goodman and Micky Burchell. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
