It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Day Piazza (Statesboro, Georgia), who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Steve Piazza; her sons, Michael Piazza (David), Timothy and Daniel (Pam); and her grandchildren, Amy Zwemer (John), Jessica Waters (Sam), Josh Piazza (Bailey), Jerica Marie Coughlin and Jordan Coughlin. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Statesboro First United Methodist Church (101 S Main St, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church where she worshiped and that she loved.
