He was predeceased by: his father Charles Williams Burroughs Sr.; his wife Sue Gerrald Burroughs; and his children, Joyce Ann Burroughs, Janice B. Dubuc and Charles William "Buddy" Burroughs, III.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jackie, Ronnie Anderson, Ray and Sonia Phillips; his son Herbert Eugene Burroughs; and his sister Gail NeSmith (Daniel). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
