He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rucker of Washington and Janie Yarbrough Rucker; and his siblings, Jane Kearny, Georgia Hagan (Warren), Tibbie Pelote (Buster) and Bill Rucker (Mary).
He is survived by: his wife Janice Rucker; his children, Connie R. Newman (Roy) and Charles "Nathan" Rucker (Alayah); his grandchildren, AJ, Abel and Avery Jenkins; his sisters, Omie Hagan and Dot Stewart (George); and his brother-in-law Jimmy N. Conley. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
