He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Turner "Cap" Mallard (Eliza Smith Mallard) and Charles; his siblings, Mary, Leo, Clyde, Cap, Lorie, Victoria, Matthew Carter, Troy and Walter; and his mother-in-law DeBritt (Claudine Lane).
He is survived by: his wife Willette Lane Mallard of Statesboro; his children, Joy Lane Mallard Mize (Charles) of Martinez, GA, Sherry Lee Mallard Conner (Charles) of Brooklet, GA, Eliza Kay Mallard Clark (Denny) of Statesboro, GA and Charles Ben Mallard (Kathy) of Anderson, S. C.; his grandchildren, Andrew Mize (Laney), Kristina Ralston (Garrett), Carolyn Buckshaw, Toby Conner (Kelsey), Clay Conner (Megen), Matt Conner (Shelby), Mitchell Clark (Ashley), Meredith Bloser (Blake), Jordan Mallard (Emily) and Kayla Molinaro (Anthony); and his sister-in-law Patty Davis Lane of North Charleston, S. C.. He is also survived by his 18 great-grandchildren.
