She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Perry and Lester Perry; and her siblings, Jewel "Judy" Taylor, Linda Perry Emsweller, Frankie Perry Riner, Danny Perry and George Perry.
She is survived by: her husband Hood Wadsworth "Waddy" Deal; her children, Matt Deal (Amanda) and Stacie Gibson (Charlie); her grandchildren, Aden Deal, Avi Deal, Ethan Caldwell, Madelyn Caldwell Anderson, Emma-Rose Chisom and Jacob Chisom; and her sisters, Peggy Otto, Helen Sherrod and Patsy Morris. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery (4025 Friendship Church Rd, Statesboro, GA 30458).
