He was predeceased by: his father Brooks Hendrix; his former wife Rose Lovett Hendrix; his children, Eugene Hendrix and Vera Hendrix; his sister Betty Jean Hale; and his stepdaughter Lillian Cone.
He is survived by: his wife Margarette Brannen-Hendrix of Statesboro, GA; his sons, Al Hendrix of Statesboro, GA, Alfred Hendrix (Darlene Rozier) of Hepzibah, GA and Christopher Hendrix of Winston Salem, NC; his stepchildren, Jozell Lovett (Jerrilene) of Augusta, GA, Jean Lovett of Statesboro, GA, Kathy Lovett Ulrich, Connie Thompson (Derrick) of Columbia, SC and Kim Lovett (Pam) of Augusta, GA; his brother Charles; and his stepson-in-law Dennis Cone of Statesboro, GA. He is also survived by grandchildren and step grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
