It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Wynn Parrish of Statesboro, Georgia, born in Guyton, Georgia, who passed away on July 5, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey Wynn, Sr. and Dicy Anderson Wynn; her husband Fred Arthur Parrish; her grandson Christopher Parrish; and her siblings, Audrey Wynn O'Brian, Marjorie Wynn Edwards, Thomas Joseph Wynn, Riley Beman Wynn and George Dewey Wynn, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Tanya Lane (Rusty) of Canoochee and Dennis Parrish of North Augusta, SC; her grandchildren, Rebecca Morris, Eli Lane and Dicey Lane; her great grandchildren, Jason Morris and Harper Morris; her godsons, Will Clarke of Statesboro and Jay Clarke of Register; and her siblings-in-law, Faye Chester of Statesboro, Robert Parrish of Savannah and James Parrish of Statesboro. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
