He was predeceased by: his father Wilburt Oakes. He is survived by: his mother Janelle Oakes; his wife Deborah; his children, Katie Kline (Andrew) of Owatonna, MN, Nicole Turner (Scott), Laura and Sean; his siblings, Lise, Daniel and Silvi; and his grandchildren, Tristan, Sadie, Thor, Annie, Wyatt and Finnly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that people make donations to the Connection Church Missions Team in Bert's memory.
