She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil H. Zoller and Vivian Rahn Zoller; her husband Hinton B. Newman; and her brother Virgil Irving Zoller. She is survived by: her children, Curtis A. Maye, Leitner Helfrich (Brent) and Serena Jenkins (Thomas); her siblings, Elizabeth Z. Hursey (Fulton) and Herbert R. Zoller (Boma) of Springfield; her grandchildren, Heavenlee Ciara Maye, Christine Patience Newman, Breanna Helfrich and Virgil Jenkins; and her great grandchildren, Zoeyann Smith, Arabella Smith and Arthur Anderson III.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
