The memory of Barbara Green Moate (Statesboro, Georgia), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Miller Green and Beverly Fisk Green; and her sister Beverly Nell Green. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Edison Moate, Jr.; her children, Marly Moate Page (William Holland Page, Jr.), Miller Moate Wilson (Cameron Walton Wilson) and Marvin Edison Moate, III; her grandchildren, Holland, Annelise, McKean Page, Emery, Wyatt and Wright Ann Wilson; and her siblings, Betty Blount (Leonard), Billy Green (Sherry) and Bobby Green (Missy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Northside United Methodist Church.
