She was predeceased by: her parents, Emern Holmes and Viola Holmes. She is survived by: her husband Charles B. "Boyd" Johnson of Statesboro; her children, Sheri Broom (Matt) of Savannah and David Johnson (Lauren) of Chandler, Arizona; her grandchildren, Savannah Reheis (Jared), Heidi Johnson and Weston Johnson of Mesa, Arizona; her great grandchild Theo Reheis; and her siblings, Judy Fortenberry, Cathy Turner, Sandy McCleskey and John Holmes of Eva, Alabama. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (108 N Main St, Statesboro, GA 30458).
