Cauley; his stepfather Dr. Stephen Cauley of Statesboro; his sister Sidney McDougald David; his brother-in-law Brad David of Statesboro; his nieces, Marguerite McDougald David of Memphis, TN and Mary Elizabeth David of Athens; his aunts and uncles, Charles, Kay Brown of Sautee Nacoochee, Richard and Ann Monk of Birmingham, AL; his cousins, Kevin Brown, Sarah Brown, Amy Wilson, Richard Monk III, Jeanne Monk, Junnie Monk Borden and Betsey Brown Scarborough; his friend Amie Smith; his close friend Lorna Hulst Culpepper of Statesboro; his pet Buddy; his father A. B. McDougald, Jr.; and his grandmothers, Bernie H. Brown and A. B. McDougald.
