She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Whilden and Malissa Dukes Whilden; her husband Lavon Staten; and her children, Tammy Sabrina and Ronald Lavon.
She is survived by: her pet Smokey; her daughters, Joy Routt of Georgetown and Cindy Zeigler (Leon) of Statenville, GA; her daughter-in-law Sandy Staten; and her grandchildren, Angela Williams, Heather Bushaw, Corey Williams, Duffy Hummel, Dustin Williams, Sarah Murray, Holly Smith, Brandi Harvey (Will), Jami Zeigler (Jenna) and Carmen Zeigler (Mitch). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
