With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Joe Tefft Jr. (Statenville, Georgia), born in Glendale, California, who passed away on March 11, 2018 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gerald J. Tefft, Sr.; and his siblings, Ronnie Tefft and Sherry Tefft. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Staten Tefft; his son Daniel Tefft; his mother Kay Tefft of Statenville; his sisters, Mary Compton (Kelly) of Arlington, Jackie Moore (Rick) of Hot Springs and Judy Brown (Kelly) of Kernersville; his parents-in-law, Laverne Staten and Franklin Staten; and his brother-in-law Greg Staten (Suzan) of Statenville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Perimeter Road Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Donations may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, P. O. Box 1727, Valdosta, GA 31603.
