He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Achtziger and Lea Achtziger; his wife Frances Achtziger; and his son Wayne Achtziger. He is survived by: his children, Robert Achtziger, Jr. (Glenda), Randy Achtziger (Stacie), Carey Messex, Jr. (Karen) and Tammy Daigle (Jeff); his daughter-in-law Dale Achtziger; and his brother Harold Achtziger (Linda). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
