He was predeceased by: his wife Delories Dickey; his son David Dickey; and his granddaughter Vanessa Lindsay. He is survived by: his daughter Susan D. Lindsay; his grandsons, Paul Lindsay and John S. Lindsay, III; and his brother Kelly Dickey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Georgia Wildlife Federation or Tornado Relief in Kentucky.
