It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelda Faye Underwood (Springfield, Georgia), born in Nashville, Georgia, who passed away on January 31, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Knowles and Lena Knowles; her daughter Sharon Henderson; and her siblings, Vernon Knowles and Ivah Mae Hendley.

She is survived by: her husband Paul Underwood; her children, Lewis Bradford and Melissa Garner (Sammy); her stepdaughters, Selah Underwood and Esther Underwood; and her brothers, Buford Knowles and Troy Knowles. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and four step-grandchildren and a large extended family.

In lieu of flowers; donations may be made to Last Day Ministries Prison Outreach, 2402 Old Dixie Hwy, Springfield, GA 31329.
