She is survived by: her children, Karen Porter, Joel Carter and Lora Murdaugh (Shannon); her grandchildren, Wesley Porter (Rosie), Leia Wampler (Ethan), Rachel Mobley (Jacob), Harley Ballard (Dalton), Hunter Bennett (Shaw), Carter Murdaugh, Walker Carter, Gabby Carter, Joelie Carter and Waylon Murdaugh; her great grandchildren, Braxton, Ira, Benedict, Potter, Cort, Elliana and Sebastian; her caregivers, Joyce, Tina and Ruthie; and her niece Myrtice.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Funeral Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326).
