He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ernest Jones, Sr. and Leona Leola Edwards Jones. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Rahn Jones; his children, Edwin Jones, Angi Gaskin (Ray Gaskin) and Susie Collins (Paul Southwick); his sisters, Judy Rainey (Buddy) and Jennifer Hadwin; his grandchildren, Justin Mock (Caitlin), Jake Collins (Jackie Tucker), Cheyanne Mock Jackson (Allen) and Jesse Collins (Maia); his great grandchildren, Cason Collins, Brennley Mock and Alken Jackson; and his pet Squeak. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to Springfield United Methodist Church Building Fund, 210 Cleveland Street, Springfield, GA 31329.
