He is survived by: his wife Ethel Perkins of Springfield; his children, Jonathan Perkins (Connie) of Guyton, Eric Perkins of Springfield and Helen Thrasher (Richard) of Springfield; and his siblings, Alec Perkins of Canoochee and Dorothy Gibson of Swainsboro. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
