He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clayton and Mildred Eloise Swindler; and his daughter Sara Michelle Swindler. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Baker Swindler; and his children, Debra Louise Swindler, Barbara Lynn Swindler Williams, James Clayton Swindler, Cynthia Colleen Swindler Wall (Sidney) and Daniel Lewis Swindler (Ann Marie). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
