He is survived by: his wife Ava Gnann Hartzog; his children, Charles Eric Hartzog (Cheryle), Sonya Hartzog Kessler (Neal) and Brian Edward Hartzog (Susan); his grandchildren, Zachary Hartzog, Jessica Barnett (Ross), Gracie Hartzog, Lucas Hartzog, Nicole Kessler-Razo (Will), Anna Kessler, Evan Hartzog and Emily Hartzog; and his great grandchild Meadow Hartzog.
