He was predeceased by: his parent Willa Mae Andrews; his children, Marcia Warren, Karen Newton and Kelvin Andrews; and his grandson Jeffrey Newton.
He is survived by: his parent Georgia; his wife Bessie Roberson; his children, James Andrews (Faye), Juliet Cooper (Henderson), Randolph Andrews (Yolanda), Timothy Andrews, David Andrews (Latrell) and Collette Andrews; his son-in-law Willie James Newton; and his siblings, Margaret Brunswick, Judy Smart and Jewel Smart (Bertha). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
