He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Kefer, Jr. and Iola Pearl Welling Keffer; his wife Dorothy Shepherd Keffer; his daughter Beverly Lisa Keffer; and his brother Linden Keffer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sandy Keffer of Homestead, FL, Karen Waldron (Mike) of Norfolk, VA and Douglas Keffer (Dana) of Roanoke, VA..
