It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Troy Alfonzo Moss of Sparta, Georgia, who passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Della Mayweather and Robert Edward Moss; his grandmother Mattie Mayweather; his sister Lisa (Carl); his stepsister Toy Mortimer; his brothers, Larry Smith and Joe Nathan Murray, Sr. (Arlean); and his aunts and uncles, Mattie Mae Lawrence (Mary Clark), Shirley Strawter, Pauline (George), Hughes, Jennifer Reeves, Steven Mayweather (A'Keti), James Mayweather, Emmanuel Moss and Clarence Moss. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Adrick Alexander Chapel (12273 W Broad St, Sparta, GA 31087). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the New Beulah Baptist Church (18343 GA-22, Sparta, GA 31087).
