It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Hamby Martin of Sparta, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lane Hamby and Gertrude George Hamby; her husband Louie Tommottis "Tommy" Martin; her sons, Jeffrey Martin and Chad Martin; and her granddaughter Amy Nicole Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Hayley Martin of Statesboro, Brett Martin (Sheila) of Reston, VA and Lane Martin (Lacee) of Atlanta; her siblings, Jeanne Hardwick (Lou) of Covington, Margaret Marechale of McDonough, Thomas Hamby and Mike Hamby (Debra) of Stockbridge; and her grandsons, Jack Gibson, Maxwell Martin, Jacob Martin, Zachery Martin (Taylor) and Austin Martin (Lydia).
