We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2022, at the age of 80, Leon Mapp Sr. of Sparta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mapp and Beatrice Mapp (Green); and his siblings, Cleveland Mapp, Sr. and Carolyn Mayo. He is survived by: his wife Diane Mapp; his children, Brent Mapp (Wendy), Marcia Drane (Morris), Trence Walker, Christopher Moss, Montegus Lowe, Sr., Markina Owens (Todd), Surece Nunnally (Costella), Korry Lowe, Sr., Joy Mapp, Leon Mapp, Jr. (Jamie) and Keidra Mapp; his siblings, Irma Barksdale, Vivian Mapp and John Wesley Mapp (Patricia); his siblings-in-law, Clarence Mayo, Patricia A. Mapp, Shirley Bly (Charles) and Joann Wilson; and his friends, Leonard, Willie James "Pete" Thomas and John "Goat" Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
