John Callaway Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2023, at the age of 90, John Callaway (Sparta, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Fisher Callaway and Roy D. Callaway, Sr.; and his brother Roy D. Callaway, Jr.. He is survived by: his significant other Bette J. Callaway; his children, Dianne C. Sheppard (Cliff) of Sandersville and John I. Callaway (Carol) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Trey Sheppard (Emily), Mitch Sheppard (Brannen) of Sandersville, Brian Renfroe of Milledgeville, Christopher Callaway and Joseph Callaway of Sparta; and his great grandchildren, Ford Sheppard, Anne Marie Sheppard, Emerson Sheppard, Jones Sheppard, Pierce Sheppard, Mitchell Sheppard, Sims Sheppard, River Renfroe, Ava Renfroe and Rebekah Neal.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pierce Memorial Methodist Church or Culverton Cemetery.
