He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Marshall Carswell, Otha Carswell, Laura Cole and Lucy Carson; his wife Elnora Carswell of Sparta, GA; his children, Betty Carswell of Jeffersonville, GA, Stacey Carswell (Earnestine) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Jerald Carswell (Lorraine) of Sanford, FL and Elvis Jackson (Tracie) of Dallas, GA; and his brother Mack Carswell (Genelda) of Macon, GA. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
