He was predeceased by: his parents, James Whiddon and Hazel Gray Whiddon; and his brothers, Jimmy Whiddon, Buck Whiddon and Dick Whiddon.
He is survived by: his children, B. J. Whiddon (Melissa) of South Dakota and Dionne Gray Whiddon of Washington; his grandson William Jackson Whiddon, III; and his brother Tommy Whiddon of Sparks.
