She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Ray Pearson of Nashville; her husband James Tommy Hewett; and her son James Arthur Hewett. She is survived by: her mother Betty Jean Pearson of Nashville; her children, Heather Hanchey (Torry) of Nashville and Jason Hewett; her brothers, Randle Pearson (Cheryl), Tommy Pearson (Donna) and Donnie Pearson (Theresa); her close friend Sabrina White of Lynn Haven; and her partner Terry Bruner of Sparks. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
