He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Thomas Edge Sr. and Eva Pearl Cauley Edge; and his siblings, Gladys Brantley, Floyd Edge, Sue Chavis, Hildamae Ward, Elijah, Elisha Edge, Eddie Edge and Walteen Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Beasley Edge; and his children, Deann Edge of Montgomery County, GA, Denise Rice (Jim) of Macon, GA, Reverend Kenny Edge (Karen) of Kibbee, GA, Jody Edge (Judy) of Alamo, GA and Misty Phillips of Kibbee, GA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sammons Funeral Home (4201 W Main St, Soperton, GA 30457). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home (4201 W Main St, Soperton, GA 30457).
