He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Delmus; his son Stanley Soles; his daughter-in-law Kay Soles; and his siblings, Aubrey Soles, Edgar Soles and Mamie Ola Griffis.
He is survived by: his parent Mattie Hudson Soles; his wife Bobbie Jean Fulford Soles; his children, Ann Hood (Robert) of Scott, Greg Soles of Scott, Randy Soles of Scott, Roger Soles (Shirley) of Scott and Connie Carter (Carl); and his siblings, Robert Soles (Mary Helen) and Fran Sauls of Scott. He is also survived by grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
