He was predeceased by: his wife Mamie Ella Mikell Boyette; his son Raymond Dillon Boyette; his parents, Ira Dillon Boyette and Gertie Turner Boyette; his siblings, Lucille Flanagan, Melba Kennedy, Flora Wilson, Rufus Rogers and Carl B. Boyette; and his grandson Ricky Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Vonette Sampey (Mac) of Savannah, Georgia Betty Presnell of Midway, Georgia Faye Lea (Charles) of Dauphin Island, Ala, Robert Boyette (Beverly) of Aurora and Ronnie Boyette (Anna) of Savannah, Georgia; his siblings, Marie Wilson (Junior) of Reidsville, Georgia Lavern Bradley of Reidsville, Georgia and Noah Boyette of Soperton, Georgia; and his daughter-in-law Patti Boyette of Appling. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.
