He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Spivey and Avie Lou Geiger Spivey. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Alice Meeks Spivey of Vidalia, GA; his children, Lisa Spivey Chesser (Hal), Angie Spivey Friddle (Pete), Rachel Spivey Towery (Tommy) and Sgt. Jack Ricky Spivey (Edith); his siblings, Russell Spivey and Kathy Spivey Kelly (Brad) of Soperton, GA; his grandchildren, Taylor Towery, Abbie Chesser, Doug Chesser, Bailey Collins and Anastasia Spivey; and his nephew Roman Joyce.
