He is survived by: his children, Michael "Arty" Monroe of Statesboro, GA, Joshua Albert "Josh" Monroe (Khristal) of Pooler, GA, Ron Winters (Carol) of Soperton, GA, Donna Jane Winters of Tarrytown, GA and Shirley Ann Davison of Purvis, MS; his siblings, Rene Thomas of Dublin, GA, Dianne Lord of Toomsboro, GA and Lisa Arpasi (Russ) of Albuquerque, NM; and his grandchildren, Ezekiel Luke Monroe, Jim Davison, Ronnie Davison, Olivia Winters, Ronald Winters, Felicia Winters, Michelle Winters, Jeremy Winters, Jamie Winters and Amanda Stafford. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
