With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillie Powell of Soperton, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 16, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lillie Powell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Eddie Odom, Sr. and Lillie Gillis Odom; her husband Alton Powell; her son-in-law John Brewton; her stepmother Mary Thompson Odom; and her siblings, Eloise Pronko, James Eddie Odom, Jr., Ward Odom, Dwight Odom and Felix Odom.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn, Pamela Powell and Sue Brewton of Soperton; her grandchildren, Steven, Stacey Powell of Soperton, Susannah, Weston Robison of Vidalia and John Christopher Brewton of St. Simons Island; her great grandchildren, Logan Powell, Emily Powell of Soperton and Lillie Robison of Vidalia; and her sisters, Anne B. Hutcheson of Hephzibah and Gail Willis (Freddie) of Soperton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
