He was predeceased by: his parents, Linza E. Pettis and Grace E. Pettis. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Whitney, Lesley and J. R.; and his siblings, Becky, Jeff, Jim and Jerry. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
