It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris H Gray (Soperton, Georgia), who passed away on July 19, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Herndon and Marie Williford Herndon; her husband Raymond Gray; and her half-brother Terrence Herndon. She is survived by: her son Mitchell Allen Connell (Elaine) of Mt. Vernon, GA; her stepchildren, Debbie Miller (Danny) of Pembroke, GA and Raymond Allan Gray of Pooler, GA; her siblings, Reta Frisancho (Sandro), Dale White of Lizella, GA, Harvey Herndon (Geneva), Elmer Herndon (Grace) and Ernie Herndon of Soperton; and her stepgrandchildren, Chris Mc Donald (Sam) of Mt. Vernon, GA, Byron Anthony Stephens (Ashley) of Rincon, GA, Joni Griffin (Jason) of Pembroke, GA and Danielle Miller Kicklighter (Cory) of Pembroke, GA. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
