He is survived by: his wife Mary Maxine Benthal Dorsey of Soperton, GA; his children, James Thigpen (Betty), Tony Thigpen of Loganville, GA, Diane Thigpen of Soperton, GA, Billy Thigpen (Kathy) of Dublin, GA and Jeffery Thigpen (Tammy) of Soperton, GA; his sibling Latha Fowler (Harold) of Statesboro, GA; and his brother-in-law Edison Benthal (Linda) of Dyersburg, TN. He is also survived by great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
