She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Coleman and Stella Steptoe Coleman; her husband William Alvie Hopkins; her siblings, Jack, Sam, Morris and Lucille Holton Coleman; and her grandchildren, Melena Arrington and Paul Toler.
She is survived by: her daughter Virginia Hopkins Toler (Frank); her sister Julia Odeen Greenwood; her grandchildren, Deborah Toler Durden (Lanny) and Nickie Arrington; and her great grandchildren, Lindsay, Lacey, Lance Durden and Christy Arrington Cullum. She is also survived by three great great grandchildren.
