He is survived by: his wife Debby Long Powell of Cadwell, GA; his children, Jessica Sawyer (Ricardo), Genea Powell and Jason Vaughan; his siblings, Ricky Powell and Kathy Newberry; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Ashley, Layla, Dexirae, Jaszmyn and Xavier. He is also survived by two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
