He is survived by: his wife Karen Simmons Brooks of Soperton, GA; his children, Christopher Heuett (Kimberly) of Eatonton, GA, Daniel Heuett (Krystal), Michael Brooks (Angelica) of Soperton, GA and Brittany Simmons of Locust Grove, GA; his siblings, Doyle Brooks of Dublin, GA, Rebecca Hall and Nelson Brooks; and his grandchildren, John Heuett, Jasmine Heuett, Melinda Simmons, Rosabella Meadows, Jayden Brooks and Camden Brooks (Many). He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
