She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Greer Shirley and Aaron Shirley; and her brother-in-law Edwin Brown. She is survived by: her husband Howard Varnadoe; her son Bob; her daughter-in-law Denise Varnadoe; her sister Annie Ruth Brown; her grandsons, Harrison Varnadoe and Sullivan Varnadoe; and also Eddie Brown.
