He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. West, Sr. and Elizabeth Collins West; his son Jeffery Scott Cantrell; and his sister Charlene West. He is survived by: his wife Martha S. West; his children, Richard L. West of Lawrenceville, Jeff C. West (Karen) of Lawrenceville, Karen W. English (Jim) of Milner, Faith W. Tondee (Jeremy) of Covington and Leanne W. Polk (Rodney) of Plano, Texas; his niece Shannon Stewart (Andy); and his siblings, James P. West, Jr. (Kathryn) of McDonough, Michael R. West (Sue) of Hiawassee and Ruth W. Floyd of Douglasville.
