He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Theron and Myrtle Patterson (Phillips); his former wife Annie Ransom Patterson; his wife Ellen Faircloth Patterson; his brother Robert Patterson; and his nephew Daniel Patterson.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Patterson (Terri), Jeff Patterson (Gigi) and Robin Hill; his grandchildren, Eryn Marciano, Anna Patterson, Doug Patterson, Lindsay Patterson, Chandler Patterson (Kayla), Daniel Hill and Gregory Hill; his great grandchildren, Madalyn, Mason, John Roberts, Theron, Aubree, Reed, Dylan, Maddox, Memphis and Eldora Mae; his niece Cynthia Stack; his nephew Michael Patterson; and his pet Lucky.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the WHEELER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY (11405 Brown Bridge Rd, Covington, GA 30016). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral and Cremation Services. An entombment was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Lawnwood Memorial Park (1111 Access Rd, Covington, GA 30014).
