She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Cora Byrd Puckett Lane; her husband Glen Mitchell; her son Gerald Mitchell; and her siblings, James Lane and Hazel Lane.

She is survived by: her children, Tony Mitchell (Susan), Alan Mitchell (Donna), Debbie Brackett (Glenn) and Melanie Lee; and her sister Judy Danner. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
