She was predeceased by: her husband Donald R. Carter; her parents, Luther King and Lila King; her brothers, Raymond King, Walter King (Faye), Charles King and Ralph King; her daughter-in-law Sherry Carter; and her nephew Phillip King.
She is survived by: her sons, Don Carter and Michael (Sharon Carter). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (6833 Church St, Lithonia, GA 30058). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westview Cemetery (1680 Westview Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30310).
