He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vondersmith and Evelyn Vondersmith; his son William M. Vondersmith III; and his sister Gloria Jean Plotcyzk. He is survived by: his sons, David Vondersmith (Natalie) and Richard Vondersmith; his grandchildren, Steven Vondersmith (Ariel), Julia Armstrong (Parker) and Jessica Dent (Tyler); and his stepgranddaughter Leslie Denu (Eric).
